Glassblowing Classes

North Shore Glass School is thrilled to be offering glassblowing classes of all sorts! Classes include (but are not limited to): blown glass pumpkins, blown glass ornaments, paperweights, cups, bowls, flowers, hearts, and more!

Below is our array of glassblowing classes you could take at NSGS. From semester courses to combo classes or blow your own events, be sure to check them out and remember we offer private bookings as well!

Participants must be 10 & up for daytime classes, evening classes are reserved for adults.

    "Combo" Classes

    Combining glass blowing with fused glass - we offer a wide variety of glass blown and fused glass projects for you to explore and create! In this 2 or 2.5 hour class, each participant will get to make one blown glass object and one fused glass piece. Click below for sign-ups.

  • Blow Your Own Workshops

    Looking to test out glassblowing while making something fun? Our blow your own workshops are a great start! Join us for a quick visit to the studio - in these workshops you will spend 15 minutes watching and 15 minutes making your own keepsake object. Our Blow Your Own Workshop offerings vary depending on the season from blow your own pumpkins to ornaments to hearts and flowers

  • Glass blowing class

    Semester Glassblowing

    Looking to learn a lot about glassblowing? Join our four-week introductory class. Participants will get hands on experience via a skills-based approach that will focus on drills, projects, and techniques to provide a well-rounded introduction to the art of glassblowing.

    This class runs for 4 consecutive weeks.

    Wednesdays: 3:30-6:00pm

    Thursdays: 5:30-8:00pm.

  • A collection of vintage metal tools, including two large, rusty tweezers with long, pointed tips, a pair of small, rusty shears with finger loops, and a curved metal hook.

    Hot Shop Rental Time

    For those experienced with glass blowing, our hot shop is available for rent by the hour to make whatever you’d like! Stay tuned for direct sign-ups. Contact us directly for now if interested!
