Semester Classes

If your child loves to create beautiful things, enjoys different art mediums or likes learning new things, then our after-school classes are where they need to be!  We offer several flameworking and fused glass classes to students ages 9 to 18 years old. Our after school programs are a great way to keep your kid entertained when school gets out.  Our classes are hands-on, engaging, educational and fun. We will also help our students build a eye-popping portfolio that will set them apart during the admissions process at any private or specialty school or college.

intro  To pendants

In this class, students will be taught the ancient art of flameworking using borosilicate glass.  Students will learn how to manipulate molten glass by using heat, gravity and traditional tools. The goal of this class is for students, with no prior experience, to learn some basic flameworking skills and create beautiful pendants.

Fusing & Slumping

Fusing and slumping glass is a fun way to create jewelry, bowls, plates, coasters and much much more.  Participants will learn how to design their concept ho,shape and stack the art glass, and finally, arrange the piece for fusing.  Wednesdays & Saturday Morning

Stained Glass

Stained Glass work isn't complicated!  But it does require some guidance to create a safe and beautiful piece. At NSGS we will outline the steps required to make a copper foil panel you can display at home.  Thursday & Sundays.
