With limited spots in each session, every place at North Shore Glass School is an opportunity for creativity, growth, and hands-on learning. Our Junior Workshops are capped at just 8 students, and Kids Workshops at 12, ensuring every student receives personal guidance in a focused, supportive environment.

No experience is needed! About half of our students are first-timers. Beginners are fully supported, while students with prior experience are encouraged to build on their skills and try more advanced techniques.

Students will create a variety of projects across multiple glass mediums, including pendants, bowls, cups, small sculptures, figurines, and stained glass designs. They’ll take home as much as possible throughout the week, with some pieces completed later due to the nature of glassmaking.
Students returning for multiple sessions will have opportunities to try new techniques and create different types of work.

Students are dropped off daily between 8:30–9:00 AM and picked up between 12:00–12:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Registration is by specific week, so be sure to check the location and dates when booking. -

Instruction is hands-on, while also encouraging independence, problem-solving, and creative thinking.

Our kids’ summer program is non-refundable after June 1st. Should your summer plans change, please contact us as we are sometimes able to move kids to different weeks.

Safety is our top priority. Instructors supervise students at all times and are trained in first aid, with fully stocked kits on site.
Students are required to wear safety glasses at all times, and we provide tools, gloves, and guidance appropriate to each activity. -
Students must wear closed-toe shoes at all times.
For days involving flame work, cotton clothing is strongly encouraged, and synthetic materials should be avoided when possible.Students are also welcome (and encouraged) to bring a light lunch and a drink each day if they’d like to.

Students will take home as many pieces as possible throughout the week, including Fridays.
Some projects require additional time to cool and finish properly. Any remaining pieces are typically ready within 2 weeks.

For safety and space reasons, sessions are student-only. However, we’re always happy to share updates and photos when possible, and students will have plenty to show and talk about when they head home!
