Lampworking is a delicate art and trains the user precision, attention to detail, and motor skills. In Lampworking (given its name from the old lamps used as far back as ancient Egypt) participants use a torch to heat glass into a liquid. Then, using gravity and a variety of tools, they shape it into pendants and figurines. Tuesdays & Saturday afternoon.
Fusing and slumping glass is a fun way to create jewelry, bowls, plates, coasters and much much more. Participants will learn how to design their concept,shape and stack the art glass, and finally, arrange the piece for fusing. Wednesdays & Saturday Morning
